Know Jesus
Christianity is not merely a religion to practice. It is an invitation to know the Father through Jesus Christ, and to walk with Him in everyday life.
Who is Jesus?. Jesus is the Son of God who entered our world, fully revealing the Father's heart. He taught with authority, loved the overlooked, and called people to follow Him. John 1:14
Why did He come?. He came to seek and save the lost, bring us back to God, and announce the Kingdom. His life shows us both the compassion and the holiness of God. Luke 19:10
What did the cross accomplish?. At the cross, Jesus gave Himself for our sins. His sacrifice opens the way for forgiveness and peace with God; we cannot achieve this through our own effort. 1 Peter 3:18
Why does the resurrection matter?. Jesus rose bodily from the dead. Our hope is anchored in a living Savior, not only in inspiring teachings or memories of a past life. 1 Corinthians 15:20
What does it mean to follow Jesus?. Turn toward Him, trust Him, learn His teaching, love others, and obey Him in the ordinary decisions of life. Discipleship is a continuing relationship, not one moment alone. Luke 9:23
How do I hear God?. Begin with Scripture, pray honestly, and test impressions against the character of Jesus and the Bible. Seek wise counsel from a healthy Christian community rather than treating every thought as God's voice. John 10:27 · 1 John 4:1
How do I pray?. Speak to God as your Father. Bring gratitude, confession, needs and concern for others; make room to listen. You do not need impressive words to be heard. Matthew 6:9–13
How do I read the Bible?. Start with a Gospel such as John. Read a short passage, ask what it reveals about Jesus, and consider one response of faith or obedience. Return daily, patiently. 2 Timothy 3:16–17
How do I walk with the Holy Spirit?. The Spirit helps believers know Christ, understand truth, grow in love and bear witness. Ask for His help, remain grounded in Scripture, and look for His fruit in your life. John 14:26 · Galatians 5:22–23
